There’s a few reasons why I’ve been able to write here everyday for the past three weeks. First and foremost, it’s mindset. The choice I made to commit to the promise, not find reassurance in the outcome. It coincided with me taking a break from social media, the platform of outcome not process.
I’ve only told a few people about this blog, those who are on the same page as me and will resonate with it.
But there’s a tool that’s made this a whole lot easier, and it’s called Blot. It’s a blogging CMS that syncs with a folder on Github or Dropbox. All I have to do is write in my favorite text editor, move the plain text file into a designated folder, add some metadata and it’s posted.
No URL to visit, no extra steps, just commit to the practice and ship it.
It’s gotten me to think about where else do I have friction I can try to eliminate either with mindset or a tool?
